April 2024 - Techno-economic assessment of CO2 electroreduction within the West Swedish chemical industry

The report from our work with Chalmers Industriteknik (Elin Svensson and Stefan Hayne), Perstorp, Inovyn, Renova, Uniper and Vattenfall is out. A state-of-the-art analysis of commercial and research activities has been carried out (with regard to TRL level, economic potential, number of active actors, etc.) for the target molecules that may be relevant. For the most promising process alternatives for the West Swedish chemical industry, an analysis has been carried out to assess integration alternatives and techno-economic potential for location in Stenungsund.
